In this video tutorial, you will be shown how the Relative Growth Report, as provided by the NAPLAN Data Service to all Victorian schools since 2012, can be used in measuring the achievement of cohorts of students. The video clip contains information that enables teachers to understand how class and school year level NAPLAN results are compared and classified relative to the results they obtained in the previous testing year. As in Tutorial 'Relative Growth for Students', the terminology and graphs illustrating Low, Medium and High Growth will be explained. The video clip can be used with other tools and resources to support practitioners building understanding and strengthen their skills in interpreting box-and-whisker plots.
The tutorial is also available with closed captioning.
